Preparing rail tank cars for filling (inside tank washing)
- During the calendar year, more than 300 rail tank cars were successfully washed using high-pressure technology (without the use of chemicals — only steam and water). As part of this work, we were able to identify the optimum technology for preparing rail tank cars for filling oil products.
All operations were applied: steaming, water pressure washing, rinsing, drying-degassing.
Preparation time on the open trestle, including in winter: max. 45 minutes per 'dark' car, max. 30 minutes per 'light' car.
